Piping Supervisor | Petrochemical Project

 

Job Title: Piping Supervisor

Location: Gothenburg

Start: ASAP

Contract Type: Freelance

Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off

 

Overview

We are seeking experienced Piping Supervisors for a petrochemical plant project in Stenungsund. This role involves supervising piping installation works within steel modules, leading site teams, and delivering in a high-pressure EPC environment.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor on industrial / petrochemical projects
  • Background in large EPC or time-critical piping projects
  • Strong experience with piping assembly
  • Ability to manage and lead teams of welders and fitters
  • Strong understanding of site safety and quality standards
  • Fluent English (Swedish beneficial)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 15 fitters and welders on site
  • Oversee piping installation and assembly within steel modules
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to required standards
  • Coordinate with project teams and contractors on site
  • Monitor productivity and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
