Our client operates globally across the oil and gas sector (including hydrogen) and has experienced consistent growth over the last decade. The position includes a company car and all travel expenses will be fully covered. Our client is willing to offer a highly competitive and flexible salary package.
Position Details:
Join a leading engineering and technology company delivering automation solutions across the energy, industrial processing, and infrastructure sectors. You will play a key role in developing advanced control systems for both in‑house projects and external clients, contributing to high‑performance automation across complex technical environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test PLC‑based control systems for a variety of industrial applications.
- Program and configure control solutions using Siemens TIA Portal, ABB, and other modern automation platforms.
- Implement and validate safety PLCs, interlocks, and HMI/SCADA interfaces to ensure reliable and intuitive system operation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sophisticated automation concepts from initial design to commissioning.
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, and optimisation during on‑site deployments when required.
Requirements:
- Degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal or ABB, safety PLCs, and industrial automation architectures.
- Solid understanding of automation engineering, process control, and industrial communication protocols.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally for commissioning or project support.
- Confident communication skills in German and English.
