Job Description:

My client within the Defence industry, are working on autonomous drones. They are looking for a Program Manager to come onboard the team.

You will be responsible for the complete ILS delivery for CA-1 as the (Senior) Programme Manager for Integrated Logistics Support, from concept definition to Final Operational Capability and ongoing in-service support. You will make sure the program fulfils its through-life support obligations by working across maintenance planning, supply chain, technical documentation, training, and support equipment. You will oversee intricate master schedules, structure and estimate ILS offers for military clients, and maintain cost and risk baselines.

Requirements:

  • Have implemented programs for integrated logistics support or integrated product support in a defence or aerospace setting, assuming responsibility from conception to in-service maintenance.
  • Bring practical experience in a variety of ILS components, such as training, technical documentation, supply support, maintenance planning, and support equipment.
  • Have organised, priced, and oversaw ILS proposals and bids for defence clients, with a thorough grasp of the technical and commercial evaluation of support solutions.
  • Have overseen intricate program controls in multi-stakeholder settings, such as master schedules, milestone tracking, risk registers, and cost baselines.
  • Recognise ideas related to through-life support, such as availability contracting, performance-based logistics, and in-service sustainment planning.

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
