Project Engineer – Renewables

We are currently looking for a Freelance Project Engineer to support a major circular chemistry initiative taking place in Limburg.

The project focuses on the development and integration of advanced plastic recycling technologies for sustainable chemical production. The role will suit a Project Engineer with strong multidisciplinary experience in Chemical, process or mechanical engineering, and a background in CAPEX brownfield projects within the chemical or petrochemical sectors.

Start: ASAP

Location: Limburg (On site, possibility of hybrid work)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

 

Essential Skills:

5+ years of Project Engineering experience within industrial or process environments.

Experience working on CAPEX and brownfield projects involving multiple engineering disciplines.

Strong background in chemical, mechanical, process, or electrical engineering.

Previous experience working on energy transition or emission reduction projects

 

Beneficial Skills:

Dutch speaking

 

Roles are responsibilities:

Responsible for selection and performance of engineering & project delivery contractors.

Overall responsible for successful delivery of the projects.

Project planning and budget responsibility.

Risk management

The client has a requirement to start in late November and interviews are starting in the next two week.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
