Job Title: MEP Project Manager - Data Centre Project

Location: Mons, Belgium

Contract Type: Rolling Contract (Full-time, On-site)

Start Date: Within 6 Weeks

Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a cutting-edge data centre project based in Mons. This is a long-term opportunity on a rolling contract, requiring full-time, on-site presence (Monday to Friday).

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a dynamic individual with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a strong grasp of the technical complexities involved in MEP systems. Fluency in English is essential; French language skills are a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project success criteria including time, cost, quality, and performance objectives
  • Identify key health, safety, and environmental concerns and ensure they're appropriately addressed
  • Implement and maintain effective governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead procurement efforts and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and manage a cross-functional project team
  • Drive the change control process and track project adjustments
  • Monitor project finances and advise stakeholders accordingly
  • Ensure smooth and accurate flow of information among all project participants

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience managing MEP aspects of complex projects, ideally within data centres or similar technical environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage
  • Able to work full-time on-site in Mons

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
