Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with industrial projects experience to work for a renewable energy company in Rotterdam. The client has a need for a project manager to join them delivering 3x brownfield capex projects, with a total portfolio value of almost 10m€.

The role will suit a Project Manager with experience in any process plant industry (renewables, energy, chemicals) who comes from a mechanical or process background. The projects are currently in engineering phase so it would be ideal to have experience working on projects from A-Z.

Project Manager Specification:

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam area

DURATION: 12-24 month contract (likely to extend).

Essential Skills:

Project Manager experience (3-5+ years).

Mechanical or Process Engineering background preferred, ideally in renewables, energy, chemical or similar process industry.

Site based experience, working on brownfield capex projects.

Ability to support delivery of projects from initiation to completion, including basic engineering, detailed engineering and execution.

Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving in the field.

Beneficial Skills:

Dutch speaking

Roles are responsibilities:

  • Overseeing performance of engineering & project delivery contractors
  • Prepare project reports and present to the project management team
  • Create project organisation and outline responsibilities for each role - create scope for each role

While it is ideal to be 100% based on site, there is the opportunity to work some time from home.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
