Project Manager

g2 are currently looking for a Project manager to work on a portfolio of small CAPEX projects on their clients chemical and Oil & Gas facility. Their facility includes a large number of Pilot plants and mechanical installation projects, and they require someone with a mechanical or electrical background who is able to handle a portfolio of projects in the range of €100-800k, these projects can include small mechanical installations, maintenance works for HVAC and utilities projects.  

These projects are from A-Z working for a general contractor so communication across end client but also sub-contractors, engineering teams and different Subject matter experts is a large part of the role.

START: December 2025/ January 2026 LOCATION: Amsterdam Netherlands DURATION: 12-month Contract and potential for extension HOURS: 40 Hours a week (average) – 3 days a week can be discussed

Project Manager – 12-month initial contract Specification:

  • 5+ years of project manager positions
  • Experience working on HVAC, Utilities and mechanical projects
  • Experience within the industrial Environment
  • Experience in handling projects from A-Z
  • Experience in all areas of projects, Procurement, Engineering, Cost and Construction
  • Dutch and English language fluency

Beneficial:

  • Experience within similar Industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, Food & beverage)

The client has indicated that they will be able to interview as early as next week, and successful candidates could start as the beginning of November.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
