Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with industry experience to support the delivery of a renewable energy site in Groningen. The role is site-based and can start any time between now and October/November.

This opportunity is ideal for a Project Manager with a background in renewable energy who has experience managing CAPEX projects valued up to approximately €20 million. You will be joining during the execution phase and will be expected to take the project through to successful completion.

Start: ASAP – Immediate (Interviews next week)

Location: Groningen

Duration: 18-month contract (temporary-to-permanent options available)

Essential Skills

5–10+ years of Project Management experience

Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience in site-based roles on sustaining/improvement CAPEX projects

Proven ability to manage projects through full lifecycle: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning

Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills

Responsibilities

Oversee performance of engineering and project delivery contractors

Prepare and present project reports to management

Define project organization and assign role-specific scopes

Full budget and planning responsibility

The position reports to the Project Department Manager and involves delivering a brownfield CAPEX project with a total investment of around €20 million.

There is an immediate requirement, and interviews are expected to be scheduled next week.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
