Project Manager – Data Center

Our Data Center Client is looking for a Project Manager to represent the contractor.

  • Location: Frankfurt, Germany
  • Working arrangement: Freelance
  • Contract: 12+ months
  • Rate: Negotiable (based on experience)
  • Mobilisation: Immediate

Overview:

  • Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all phases of automation and control within the project, including programming, cost management, mechanical/electrical/automation assembly, and commissioning. You will work closely with the client to manage contractors, ensure compliance with project requirements, and address technical, contractual, and schedule issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Contract team to ensure timely, compliant contractor work.
  • Oversee quality, schedule and cost during construction.
  • Collaborate with client.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client and contractors to resolve issues.
  • Manage technical documentation and reporting on progress and risks.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and corrective action implementation.
  • Lead project/contract review meetings and track assigned tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience on large, complex data centre projects.
  • Skilled in automation and control, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Strong commercial and technical understanding; able to manage multicultural teams under pressure.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
