Project Manager HVDC
We are currently working with a client that are looking for a Sub project manager to work on their offshore project for the grid connection of the wind farm.
Location: Berlin
Starting date: ASAP
Contract type: Freelance
Contract length: 24-36 Months
Working pattern: Hybrid

Language: English Fluent
Tasks:
- Responsibility for the sub-project management of the HVDC converter system from award to commissioning,
- HSE and Quality Assurance,
- Central contact person for all technical, legal and commercial matters of the converter,
- Setting up and technical management of the team and sub-projects in order to build the converter in accordance with the programme objectives,
- Control of the sub-project in terms of time, quality and budget,
- Coordination of the design and system requirements with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Skills:
- Completed studies (Master's / Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or comparable,
- Sound knowledge of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage technology AC and DC, in particular reactive power compensation systems and converter technology,
- Experience in project management or commissioning for comparable service contents,
- Very good knowledge of English and German (at least B2),
- Strong organisational, assertive, communication and teamwork skills.
Not a must, but an advantage:
- Experience in HVDC platforms or in the energy industry,
- Additional certificates or qualifications in project management.
