About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new data centre build in Helsinki. You will be responsible for managing the project from early works through construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing, mission‑critical environment, working closely with clients, designers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major data centre construction project
- Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
- Oversee contractor performance, progress reporting, and change management
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards, and local regulations
- Manage procurement strategies and support contract negotiations
- Drive programme certainty across civil, structural, MEP, and fit-out works
- Support commissioning, handover, and operational readiness activities
- Provide clear reporting to senior management and clients
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale construction projects
- Experience delivering mission-critical, industrial, or complex technical projects
- (data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, energy, or large commercial projects)
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and stakeholder management
- Experience managing contractors and consultants
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Fluent English (Finnish is an advantage but not essential)
Desirable
- Previous data centre construction experience
- Background in MEP-heavy projects
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with Finnish construction regulations and permitting processes
- Experience working on international or multinational projects
