Project Planner | Hyper-scale Datacentre | Pre-construction | Paris, France

We are partnering with one of the largest and most advanced data centre developer in France to appoint a Project Planner to support major new build datacentre projects in Paris. This is a client-side role, offering strategic oversight at the earliest stages of project development, ensuring accurate planning, scheduling and programme control throughout design and pre-construction.

This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the delivery of high-value, mission-critical assets within Europe's fastest growing data centre market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules during concept, design, and pre‑construction phases.
  • Support feasibility studies, early project programming, and planning strategy development.
  • Work closely with client representatives, design teams, and external stakeholders to ensure programme deliverables are met.
  • Provide planning intelligence to influence decision‑making, procurement strategy, and risk mitigation.
  • Apply knowledge of data centre construction methodologies, sequencing, and MEP integration.
  • Ensure compliance with mission‑critical standards and high‑availability delivery requirements.
  • Liaise with hyperscale and enterprise end‑users where required.
  • Coordinate with designers, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to maintain programme accuracy.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pre‑Construction Planner, Planning Engineer, or Project Planner.
  • Background in data centre, mission critical, or high‑tech infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working client‑side, for an owner, developer, or operator (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of pre‑construction processes: feasibility, scheduling, design coordination, procurement planning.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Fluent in English and French.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
