Quality Assurance Specialist · Hybrid

We are currently looking for an experienced QA/QC Freelance Manager to join an offshore wind farm project in the Netherlands. This role is critical to ensuring quality compliance across fabrication, marshalling, installation, and commissioning phases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Oversee inspections and audits for foundations, WTG, cables, and OSS packages.
  • Manage NCRs, CARs, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors, certifying bodies, and Marine Warranty Surveyors.
  • Deliver MDRs and final quality handover documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years QA/QC experience in offshore wind or heavy marine construction.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC/DNV/EN standards, and offshore wind quality requirements.
  • Experience with fabrication yards, offshore campaigns, and MDR close-out.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Relevant certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NDT, coatings, welding qualifications (advantage).

  • Location: Netherlands (mix of remote, port visits, and offshore rotations)
  • Rate: Competitive, based on experience
