Our client is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Race Engineer to contribute to a large project dealing with the design and manufacturing of a Hybrid Cross-Country Rally Car.

About Us:
Our client is pioneering the next generation of cross-country rally vehicles—a hybrid platform designed for endurance, performance, and sustainability.
Role Overview:
As a Race Engineer, you will be the technical link between the car and the driver, ensuring optimal performance during testing and competition. This role combines race strategy, data analysis, and hands-on design input for vehicle components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize race setups for hybrid rally cars.
- Analyze telemetry and performance data to improve reliability and speed.
- Collaborate with design engineers on component development (chassis, suspension, aero).
- Support trackside operations during testing and events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Race Engineer in motorsport (FIA, WEC, Dakar, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and performance optimization.
- Design/CAD experience (CATIA V5/V6, NX, or SolidWorks).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
