R&D Engineer · On-site

We are looking for an R&D Engineer with an operational/production background to join my client in the North Holland region, supporting projects for consumer goods.

 

The client is a fast growing company focusing on FMCG projects, specifically in the beverage industry. They have a rapidly increasing workload currently and are aiming to grow the team over the next few years, bringing excellent development opportunity.

 

They are particularly interested in candidates with a hands on, operational bias, with experience in consumer goods manufacturing industries, or similar. You will be working on prototyping, testing, system optimisation, supporting the R&D/NPI team.

 

THE CLIENT ARE OPEN TO APPLICATIONS FOR BOTH PERMANENT AND FREELANCE CANDIDATES

 

START: ASAP

SALARY/PACKAGE (PERMANENT): €4,000 - €5,000 per month + 8% + Bonus

FREELANCE: 6 month contract - Competitive market rates

OFFICE LOCATION: North Holland, Netherlands, close to Amsterdam

 

Essential Skills:

  • Mechanical Engineering background or similar
  • Background working with appliances, electronics, or consumer goods
  • Experience working on testing, validation and prototyping - hands on/operational R&D
  • Any electronics or mechatronics experience is very beneficial
  • Fluent English essential, Dutch not required

 

The client has advised there are potentially multiple vacancies for this position with the company in a position to grow the team quickly due to their workload and upcoming projects.

 

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the North Holland region.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
