Safety Engineer · On-site
g2 is currently looking for a Safety Engineer to join a client based near to Malmo, Sweden immediately for a 12-month initial contract.
You will be involved in the full HSE aspects of a large-scale production facility which is moving to installation phase in April, and you will assist through the full installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up / handover phases.

Specification:
- Minimum 5 years' experience with full HSEQ on projects during the installation, commissioning and start-up phases.
- Previous experience on FMCG, chemical, oil & gas or other process industries.
- Ability to supervise contractors, installation personnel, vendors and authorities.
- Drive regulatory compliance under Swedish and EU law and ensure that the facility is delivered with a zero-incident culture embedded from day one.
- Own the project safety management plan, lead hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
- Be responsible for: Project Safety Management, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Regulatory Compliance & Permitting, Installation & Contractor Safety, Process Safety & Food Safety Interface, Commissioning and Handover.
- Certified or trained facilitator for HAZOP and/or HAZID methodology.
- Professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English (written and verbal).
