Project Overview
You will support the client in delivering a brownfield data center expansion project. The role focuses on on-site execution, MEP coordination, and interface management between trades and stakeholders. The project involves extending and upgrading existing critical infrastructure in a live environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as client-side Construction Manager for daily site activities
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical trades, manage interfaces and timelines
- Supervise subcontractors, enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Monitor installation works and support testing and commissioning
- Serve as liaison between GC, vendors, consultants, and the internal project team
- Ensure compliance with German regulations and industry best practices
- Report progress, risks, and deviations to the client team
Your Profile
- 5+ years experience in construction management (preferably on data centers or mission-critical sites)
- Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience in brownfield environments with active systems or live sites
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Available for on-site presence in Leipzig for 9 months (freelance basis)
