Senior Data Analyst

We are working with a fast-growing online automotive company that's transforming the way cars are bought and sold in Europe. As their Lead Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making and leading strategic analytics initiatives. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a high-growth, product-driven environment.

About the role:

  • Analyse platform and user data to uncover trends, track KPIs, and drive performance improvements.
  • Lead the development of predictive models-especially a flagship initiative focused on forecasting vehicle market prices using vehicle attributes, historical trends, and external datasets.
  • Validate business hypotheses with robust statistical analysis.
  • Define data principles and help design the architecture of internal data warehouses.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualisations to share insights with leadership and cross-team stakeholders.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and operations to define success metrics and optimise decision-making.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry shifts and competitive activity.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate independence in identifying insights and answering critical business questions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or data science role, ideally in e-commerce, mobility, or digital marketplaces.
  • Strong command of SQL and Python (or equivalent) for data analysis and modelling.
  • Experience with visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communicator able to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in Dutch.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
