Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Delivery Division
Location: Central London
Salary: £70,000 per annum or £45 per hour (contract option)

Our client, a leading consultancy based in Central London, is actively growing a newly established Data Centre Delivery Division and is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in shaping this team.

With a strong project pipeline and increasing demand in the mission-critical sector, this is a prime opportunity to join an agile, forward-thinking consultancy committed to delivering excellence in data centre design and delivery.

The Role:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading electrical design and coordination across large-scale data centre projects

  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery from concept through to commissioning

  • Supporting the growth and development of the new data centre division

  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services engineering

  • Strong track record of working on data centre or other mission-critical projects

  • Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech)

  • Good understanding of UK regulations and industry standards

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
