g2 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a major construction project in Amsterdam. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained throughout all phases of delivery.
I am looking for someone with a strong background in Civils or CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor or Senior Health & Safety Advisor within construction.
- Valid VCA Certificate or SCC Certificate for on site work in Netherlands
- Strong Civils/CSA project experience (not M&E-focused).
- Experience reviewing and managing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Experience maintaining H&S registers, compliance records, and site documentation.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications and training.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams, contractors, and management.
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate H&S records and compliance documentation.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety guidance to site teams.
Contract Details
- 12-month contract.
- Start date: ASAP
- Accommodation can be provided.
- Travel can be arranged by the contractor or supported every 4 weeks.
Previous Data Centre experience is preferred, however candidates from other large-scale or complex projects such as infrastructure, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy, or mission-critical environments will also be considered.
