Senior Mechanical Engineer

G2 Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for A Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client in the Rotterdam area, Netherlands.

The client is a machine manufacturing company specialising in automated production machinery, and now have two vacancies within their mechanical team due to sustained growth and lots of projects coming up for the rest of this year.

They are particularly interested in candidates with experience covering machine manufacturing, and 2D & 3D design & modelling for components and machinery, and the role comes with great opportunity to progress and climb the company ladder, with the Senior Engineer having the responsibility to mentor and coach more junior team members.

SALARY/PACKAGE: €5,000 - €6,500 per month + 8% + package

Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • 10+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Background in machine manufacturing, preferably automated production machinery
  • Any personnel management or mentoring experience beneficial
  • Experience on full engineering process, from product innovation and concept through to detailed design for manufacture
  • Standard design software experience with Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar
  • Fluent Dutch and English required

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
