About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager who is proactive, decisive, and passionate about PV/Solar. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring construction completion according to the project schedule whilst promoting a strong safety and quality culture, and driving best practices across the sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Supervision: Manage and oversee construction activities from scaffolding installation through to commissioning, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate proactively with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams across the German market.
- Site Coordination: Lead and organize on-site partners and contractors to maintain efficiency and alignment with project goals.
- Problem Solving: Apply technical expertise to resolve on-site challenges and steer projects effectively.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to management, focusing on timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
- Time & Resource Management: Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while optimizing use of labour and materials.
- Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards at all stages of the project.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in solar / photovoltaic (PV) project management with a strong understanding of energy networks.
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering (degree, technician, or master craftsman level).
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (VDE 4105/4110/4120, TAB, TAR, DIN).
- Understanding of grid connection requirements and technical specifications from grid operators.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess risks and implement solutions.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities for complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Fluent in German (English Desirable).
- High level of responsibility, independence, and teamwork.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel across Germany and occasionally to the Netherlands.
- Prior experience in the solar/renewable energy industry is required
