🏗️ Major Waste-to-Energy (EfW) Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a large-scale Waste-to-Energy project in Germany on a 24-month contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the construction and delivery of a flagship energy infrastructure project, managing site operations from construction through to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities across multiple disciplines.
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams.
  • Ensure project delivery is aligned with programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Drive a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with all project and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities and site logistics.
  • Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks and site issues.
  • Interface with clients, stakeholders, and project leadership teams.
  • Support mechanical completion, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Site Construction Manager on large industrial EPC projects.
  • Proven track record delivering Waste-to-Energy, Energy-from-Waste, Biomass, Power Generation, CHP, Petrochemical, Refinery, or other heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong leadership and contractor management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of construction execution, scheduling, quality control, and HSE management.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-million-euro infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to manage large multidisciplinary site teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • European project experience is highly desirable.
  • German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
