Senior Signaling Configuration Engineer (m/w/d)

g2 Recruitment is currently supporting a leading railway technology organisation in the search for a Senior Signalling Configuration Engineer to join their growing team in Munich.
This position is ideal for an engineer with experience in ETCS, Interlocking (IXL), signalling configuration and configuration management within railway projects.
Responsibilities
- Creation and management of signalling subsystem configurations
- Configuration verification and validation support
- Management of configuration data, technical documentation and executable files
- Support testing, integration and commissioning activities
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the configuration lifecycle
- Analyse validation and commissioning feedback to improve future configurations
- Support the development and improvement of configuration tools and processes
- Ensure compliance with configuration management procedures and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in railway signalling configuration
- Experience working with ETCS and/or Interlocking (IXL) systems
- Strong knowledge of signalling and train control systems
- Experience across the full configuration lifecycle
- Experience with configuration verification and data management
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
- Fluent German and English
Desirable Skills
- ETCS Level 1 or Level 2 experience
- Electronic Interlocking experience
- Configuration Management methodologies
- Railway systems integration
- Validation & Verification (V&V)
