About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of HVAC and Cleanroom construction projects across Stockholm and the wider region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional with experience delivering complex technical installations within pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, healthcare, or other controlled environment facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day site operations for HVAC and Cleanroom projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor construction progress against programme milestones and proactively address delays.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Swedish regulations, project specifications, and company quality standards.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, engineering teams, and project management stakeholders.
- Coordinate commissioning and validation activities for HVAC systems and cleanroom environments.
- Review technical drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Monitor labour resources, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare regular progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Support project handover and close-out activities.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Supervisor within HVAC, MEP, or Cleanroom projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ventilation, air handling units, ductwork, piping, and building services installations.
- Experience delivering projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, data centre, semiconductor, or controlled environment sectors.
- Fluent Swedish and English language skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Valid driving license.
Desirable
- Experience with GMP-regulated environments.
- Knowledge of cleanroom classifications and validation processes.
- Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience working on mission-critical or highly regulated construction projects.
