Part-Time Freelance Contract

Location: Berlin, Germany

Contract Length: Initial 3-Month Contract

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee three interior fit-out projects across the Berlin area on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in commercial fit-out projects who is looking for a flexible, part-time contract role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate works across three active sites in the Berlin region
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within scope
  • Monitor quality standards and resolve on-site issues efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with German health & safety regulations
  • Provide regular progress updates and site reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong background in interior fit-out, commercial interiors, refurbishment, or workplace projects
  • Fluent German language skills (spoken and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with German construction standards and regulations
  • Available to work 2 days per week for an initial 3-month contract

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
