g2 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale data center construction project in Frankfurt. This role requires proven, hands-on experience delivering data center projects and the ability to manage complex, mission-critical construction activities on site.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site construction activities for a data center project, including civil, structural, and MEP works
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams in a mission-critical environment
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and data center standards
- Monitor progress against the construction program and drive recovery actions where required
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards in line with German regulations
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and support commissioning and handover activities
- Identify technical, safety, and program risks and support timely resolution
Essential Skills:
- Experience working on large-scale or hyperscale data center projects
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or similar role
- Demonstrable experience delivering data center construction projects (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of mission-critical environments, including power, cooling, redundancy, and resilience requirements
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams on complex sites
- Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within Germany
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and programs
- English speaking
Desirable Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems (HV/LV, UPS, generators, cooling infrastructure)
- Knowledge of German permitting, inspections, and compliance processes
- German speaking
- Experience working to aggressive programs or in live operational environments
- Relevant site or HSE certifications (e.g. SiGeKo, NEBOSH, or equivalent)
