We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects. The role will focus on managing on‑site activities during the installation, commissioning, and handover phases of complex energy infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for day‑to‑day site management activities during construction, installation, and commissioning
  • Coordinate subcontractors, installation teams, and suppliers to ensure site works are executed in line with project schedules
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, site safety plans, and local regulations
  • Oversee quality assurance and adherence to technical drawings, specifications, and installation procedures
  • Act as the main on‑site point of contact for project stakeholders and internal project teams
  • Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions where required
  • Chair site meetings and provide clear, structured progress reporting
  • Support commissioning and testing phases, ensuring readiness for handover
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, records, and reports

Requirements

  • Technical background in electrical, mechanical, construction, or energy engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Site Supervisor on industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
  • Strong understanding of site coordination, contractor management, and interface control
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety practices in complex site environments
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English required; second language advantageous
  • Willingness to work on‑site and travel as required for the project

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
