Site Project Manager · On-site

We are supporting a hyperscale data center construction project in Fredericia and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee site execution across all engineering disciplines, ensure the project is on schedule and act as the bridge between subcontractors and client representatives.

This is an opportunity to join a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment delivering one of Denmark’s most innovative digital infrastructure projects.

 

Location: Fredericia, Denmark

Contract: 10 months (Freelance)

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a strong visible presence on site, monitoring progress and addressing deviations early
  • Lead daily coordination meetings and ensure clear communication across all teams
  • Manage site logistics, access control, deliveries, and work sequencing
  • Provide updates on risks, delays, manpower, and resource needs. Track progress, record daily site activity, and support weekly reporting

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record as a freelance site manager on large‑scale industrial, data centre, or mission‑critical construction projects
  • Familiarity with construction quality processes, HSE compliance, and site coordination workflow
  • Strong, hands‑on leadership style with excellent communication and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and calm decision‑making under pressure

English (required)

Danish is a strong asset but not mandatory

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
