Solutions Architect · On-Site
We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to support the delivery of an Item Management Platform (IMP). This initiative centres on product and item data management capabilities, including product onboarding, change control, approval workflows, supplier engagement, data quality validation, and integration with both internal and third-party systems.
The solution landscape includes a SaaS-based platform, MDM processes, application and data integrations, identity and access management (IAM), and adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards. The Solution Architect will act as the key technical advisor for the programme, contributing to both solution design and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture covering the SaaS platform, MDM capabilities, integration services, APIs, batch interfaces, IAM, and connected applications.
- Support the design, planning, and execution of system integrations.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between vendors, project stakeholders, security teams, infrastructure teams, and application owners.
- Provide guidance on architectural approaches, technical risks, dependencies, and solution alternatives.
- Review and assess integration architectures, data flows, non-functional requirements, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Produce and maintain architectural artefacts, integration documentation, and architecture decision records.
- Lead technical workstreams independently from initial analysis through to deployment and completion.
Required Experience
- Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.
- Background in MDM, product or item information management, supplier-facing platforms, SaaS solutions, or other integration-centric initiatives.
- Strong understanding of integration architectures, APIs, batch processing, data modelling, security principles, IAM, and cloud-based/SaaS ecosystems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating and documenting architectural decisions and governance activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
