About the Role
Our leading aerospace client requires an experienced Stress Engineer to support ongoing repair and structural integrity activities across a regional aircraft platform. You will work as part of a specialist stress analysis team, contributing to both static and fatigue analysis for Primary Structural repairs. The role is fully onsite, collaborating closely with the stress lead who will coordinate daily work and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in a range of structural analysis and repair support tasks, including but not limited to:
- Performing static and fatigue analyses for primary structural repairs
- Reviewing and incorporating updates into the Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
- Supporting the application of standard aerospace manufacturing processes
- Checking FEM descriptions and validation reports
- Compiling structural analysis summary documentation
- Assessing and resolving production non‑conformities (concessions)
Required Expertise
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in aerospace stress analysis
- Strong background in Primary Structure static & fatigue analysis
- Proficiency in both analytical hand calculations and FE analysis (e.g., ANSYS, HyperWorks, Nastran)
- Experience supporting structural repairs of primary aircraft components
- Familiarity with certification requirements for structural parts and products
