We are seeking an experienced Technical Site Manager to actively shape the future of our biotechnological production facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing process engineering systems—from pilot scale to industrial production. You will lead technical project management for complex plant construction projects, from concept studies to successful commissioning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical leadership and coordination of plant construction projects—from concept to commissioning
- Optimization of technical systems during various project phases
- Responsibility for complete technical documentation of the systems
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, standards, and company safety regulations (e.g., HSE, ArbSchG, GenTG, environmental protection)
- Prepare and execute risk analyses and regulatory approvals
- Conduct training for commissioning and ongoing operation of facilities
- Provide technical expertise and lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis during operations
- Collaborate closely with production, development, quality, and management to continuously improve systems and processes
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with specialization in plant and mechanical engineering or process engineering
- Several years of experience in (chemical) plant construction, planning, or management of production facilities—ideally in bioprocess or food technology
- Solid knowledge of technical investment project management and experience leading interdisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical leadership in troubleshooting and optimization
- Excellent German and English skills, plus strong communication and teamwork abilities
